![]() My next piece of advice will sound weird. One of those missions where you need to get into a certain zone. This has a big advantage of herding green squares to either side for quick while protecting your dummy turret. Position your turret in the upper left corner shooting towards the lower right. I included a failed run to show that I don't think I did anything too wrong in that run but I was just unlucky.Ĭan be difficult. If you start in the center when things get hectic and are forced work your way outwards, you can find yourself in a dead end. Try to start on an outer safe zone by the edge if you can and work your way in to maximize the real estate available to you. Clear a path to a safe zone and get to it when feasible between 'waves'. Once the action really starts a lot of your choices are out of your hands. It also forces you to crisscross the map which results in more geoms. If you can't get to them they're useless so use them up early when you have the freedom to choose. Second try to use errant safe zones by corners by themselves early on. First get as many geoms as you can early on. Some things you can do to stack the odds though. ![]() If you get enough safe zones to spawn close enough to each other in the final stretch, you win. I didn't do this in the video but I learned how valuable it was to do in the later missions. In retrospect, if you get the green super state that collects geoms, you might want to use up your smart bombs in the next few waves to immediately get to the next wave and amass the geoms instantly. Run over it to collect the geoms that will inevitably accumulate. Consider the dummy turrent's line of fire a defacto safe zone. If you die reset unless you're at the end and just need a tiny bit more score. Expect this to go down the wire even if you don't die. Have it aim straight down the map to help you clear the mission. Enter the rubberbanded automated second player. Getting geoms is still important but you need as many of the later waves as you can squeezed into this minute and a half mission. The name of the game is the get the next wave to spawn as fast as you can. The issue is that there's not enough time to get a high multiplier and there's not enough enemies to get that multiplier. ![]() This was surprisingly difficult to 3 star. ![]()
